US Army Issues RFI to Buy 35 Airbus Lakota Training Helicopters

The US Army has issued a request for information (RFI) to acquire additional 35 Airbus Helicopters UH-72A Lakota training and support platforms.

The RFI asks for sources that can provide additional civil variant of EC145 helicopters. Eleventh is the last day to respond. The RFI was issued on Federal Business Opportunities website earlier this month.

Lakota is a twin-engine aircraft with a modern digital glass cockpit, flight controls and navigation systems. Airbus delivered the 400th UH-72A helicopeter to US Army in October last year.
