Boeing has won $96.3 million contract for production services in support of the 36 AH-64E Apache helicopters to South Korea.

Work is expected to be completed by April 2023, US department of defense said in a statement Monday.

South Korea had sought 36 Apache (AH-64E) helicopters in 2013 for an estimated $1.6 billion. The US Army has halted deliveries of the helicopters earlier last month due to quality control issues involving strap pack nut on the main rotor.
