Insitu to Supply 27 ScanEagle UAVs to Afghanistan

Insitu has won $10.8 million modification contract to procure 27 ScanEagle unmanned aircraft systems. 

This modification also includes supply of 37 payloads and spares in support of the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the US department of defense said in a statement Tuesday. 

Work will be performed in Bingen, Washington, and is expected to be completed in December 2019.

The Boeing Insitu ScanEagle is a small, long-endurance, low-altitude UAV.
