The Royal Danish air force has received the final two of nine MH-60R Seahawk multi-mission helicopters from the United States.

The two helicopters were transported by an American C17 aircraft completing the fleet of nine Seahawks, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement Wednesday.

The Seahawks will replace the existing fleet of Lynx helicopters. The government had requested 12 Seahawks from the US through a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. The first three helicopters were delivered in June 2016.
