Northrop Grumman has won two contracts worth $119 million combined for Embedded Global Positioning Systems and Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) on Thursday.
Northrop won $60 million as a modification to an existing contract, consisting of platform integration, modernization, diminishing manufacturing sources, flight test support, technical support following integration efforts, training, engineering support/studies, contractor depot repair, spares, and data for the INS, the United States Department of Defense said in a statement Thursday.
The second contract is a $59 million contract for engineering, manufacturing and development of the Embedded Global Positioning Systems and INS. This contract was awarded on Wednesday.
The contractual works are expected to be complete by June 30, 2019 and September 30, 2019 respectively.
