Tecmotiv has won $19 million contract to overhaul Egyptian M60 Main Battle Tank (MBT) engines.

The 50-tonne second generation M60 Patton main battle tank (MBT) is equipped with an air-cooled supercharged V12 diesel engine made by continental motors, producing 750 BHP.

Work will be performed in Niagara Falls, New York, with an estimated completion date of November 2020, the US Department of Defense said in a statement Wednesday.
