General Dynamics Wins $191 Million to Provide Submarine Post-delivery Services

General Dynamics has won multiple contracts worth $191 million to provide post delivery services for the US Navy’s USS South Dakota (SSN 790) submarine.

General Dynamics was awarded $76 million contract for planning and execution efforts and alterations, $60 million to provide additional support and services, and $55 million for installation of the Stern Area System during USS South Dakota’s (SSN 790) post-delivery work period, the US Department of Defense said in a statement Monday.

Work is expected to be completed by December 2020.
