Saudi-led Coalition has intercepted an unmanned booby-trapped fishing boat and a drone launched by the Houti rebels in the past 24 hours, Colonel Turki Al-Malki, the official spokesman for the "Coalition to Support Restoring Legitimacy in Yemen", stated.
Early Monday, the Naval Forces of the Coalition managed to thwart a terrorist attempt by the Houthi militia targeting a commercial ship, in the southern waters of the Red Sea, using an “unmanned booby-trapped Blue Fish boat.”
Al-Maliki said that the coalition forces spotted the unmanned boat while it was moving, then intercepted and destroyed it.
On Monday evening, the coalition forces managed to intercept and down a drone launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia towards the kingdom, targeting civilian installations.
In the past past week, this is the second time the Saudi-led Coalition has intercepted a Houti drone while in the past, several of the rebels’ drones and missiles have found targets in Saudi Arabia.
