Sweden, UK Sign MoU To Develop Future Combat Aircraft

Governments of Sweden and the United Kingdom (UK) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop future combat aircraft capabilities and combat aircraft systems on July 18, 2019.

The two countries will cooperate on the development of future combat aircraft capabilities, including future development of the JAS 39 Gripen. The agreement will be effective for ten years.

The collaboration offers the opportunity to further insert advanced technologies into JAS 39 Gripen.
