General Electric to Supply 48 Engines for US Navy’s Super Hornets

General Electric has won a $219.4 million modification contract for the procurement of 48 install engines and engine devices for Lot 23 F/A-18E/F aircraft.

“General Electric Co., Lynn, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $219.4 million modification contract to procure 48 F414-GE-400 install engines and engine devices for Lot 23 F/A-18E/F aircraft,” the US Department of Defense said in a statement Monday.

Work is expected to be completed in August 2021.
