Russia to Complete S-400 Shipment to Turkey by December

Turkey is set receive last of its S-400 air defense systems by December of this year, deliveries of which commenced in August.

"The United States denied selling us Patriot missile systems. What happened after that? We purchased the S-400, deliveries of which are already underway. The final stage will be completed in December or possibly in November," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was quoted as saying by NTV.

Russia cinched a $2.5 billion contract from Turkey in 2017 for the S-400s. Delivery of the first batch of the systems to Ankara began this year on July 12, and was completed on July 25.
