Huntington Scores US Navy's $352M Submarine Overhaul Contract
USS Boise (SSN 764)

The U.S. Navy has awarded Huntington Ingalls $352 million contract for USS Boise (SSN 764) submarine overhaul.

This modification to previously awarded contract for the USS Boise (SSN 764) early production period that encompasses continued advance planning, execution services, production and availability preparations for the USS Boise engineered overhaul.

USS Boise (SSN 764) is a Los Angeles-class attack submarine.

The Los Angeles-class, sometimes called the LA-class or the 688-class, is a class of nuclear-powered fast attack submarines that forms the backbone of the U.S. Navy's submarine force.

Work will be performed in Newport News, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by May 2023.
