The Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) released a video on their official Sina Weibo account showing its H-6 bombers attacking a base that resembles the one in Guam.
The video’s release on Saturday coincides with China’s second day of real-combat drills near Taiwan. The garrison in the 2.15 minute PLAAF video titled “The god of war H-6K goes on the attack!” looks exactly like the Andersen Air Base on Guam.
An H-6 nuclear-capable bomber takes off from a desert base in the backdrop of dramatic music and shoots a missile at the base. The central missile sequences were taken from popular Hollywood movies - Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, The Rock and The Hurt Locker.
“We are the defenders of the motherland’s aerial security; we have the confidence and ability to always defend the security of the motherland’s skies,” the Chinese Air Force said.
