Jordan to buy Black Hawk Helicopter
U.S. Army UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter

The U.S. Army has awarded Sikorsky $13.8 million to build one UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter for Jordan.

“Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Connecticut, was awarded a $13.8 million modification to contract for one UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter. Fiscal 2010 Foreign Military Sales (Jordan) funds in the amount of $13.8 million were obligated at the time of the award,” the U.S. Department of Defense said in a statement today.

Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut, with an estimated completion date of November 30, 2020.

This July, the U.S. State Department gave its nod for Jordon to buy a Black Hawk aircraft from Sikorsky for $23 million.
