Four Dead in Pakistan Army’s Eurocopter AS350 Helicopter Crash

Four Pakistani military personnel died when an Army Aviation Eurocopter AS350 helicopter crashed in the Minimarg area of Astore district in Gilgit-Baltistan on Saturday evening.

A Pakistan army media release said the incident occurred due to technical failure. The ill-fated helicopter was attempting to evacuate the body of a soldier to the Combined Military Hospital Skardu.

While the release did not identify the helicopter, postings by Pakistan based military observers said it was the Eurocopter AS350 AS550 C3 Fennec
