Roketsan’s Levent Air Defense System Debuts at IDEF 2021 in Istanbul
Turkish firm Roketsan will showcase a brand new air defense system, Levent, at IDEF 2021 exhibition in Istanbul between 17-20 August.
“We will exhibit our LEVENT system at IDEF’21, which will provide close air defense to our ships,” Murat İkinci, General Manager of Roketsan, was quoted as saying by defenceturk.net on Monday.
LEVENT will have two versions. “The first configuration, using the electro-optical and radar systems on the ship; the second configuration will use its own radar and electro-optical systems to aim at its target,” İkinci added.
