Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) has awarded contracts totally valued £15 million to TT Electronics and Renvale Ltd to support the British Army’s new Boxer vehicles under the Mechanised Infantry Vehicle (MIV) programme.

TT Electronics has won £5 million to lead the design, production and delivery of two primary power assemblies for Boxer vehicles over the next 10 years. These products will enable efficient power management of the battery control unit and provide signalling and communications functionality for the command display units featured on every Boxer vehicle.

RBSL awarded Renvale £10 million for the supply of CAN-Node electro-mechanical boxes which ensure communication between electronic devices within the Boxer vehicle. Over the next ten years, Renvale will source materials and manage the sub-assembly and inspection of the completed boxes.
