Lviv State Aircraft Repair Plant (LDARZ), which is part of state-owned Ukroboronprom, handed over to the Ukrainian Air Force a MiG-29 aircraft repaired by the company.
After successful test flights, the aircraft was handed over to the customer, Ukroboronprom announced Thursday.
During the overhaul, LDARZ specialists restored the aerodynamic characteristics of the machine, fuel tanks and caisson tanks, hydraulic, fuel and air systems, etc.
High-quality work provided a service life of 700 hours during the 8 years of operation and the possibility of its continuation. The company provided a two-year warranty on the upgraded aircraft and the possibility of post-warranty maintenance of the car.
Before the customer's representatives accepted the equipment, ground technical control of all technical parameters was performed at the flight test station, and later test and reconnaissance flights were performed on the MiG-29.
