Russia Vows to Disable Ukrainian Defense Enterprises

The Russian Ministry of Defense has ‘promised to disable’ Ukrainian defense companies.

"The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will take prompt measures to disable enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine that manufacture, repair and restore weapons that nationalists use to commit war crimes," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Konashenkov said on Monday.

"We call on Ukrainian citizens working at these enterprises, as well as residents of nearby residential buildings, to leave potentially dangerous zones," he said.

The warning comes as Ukraine’s state-owned conglomerate UkrOboronProm struggles to repair military equipment whether - Ukrainian or Russian - damaged in the ongoing war with Russia. The company has even offered to give a reward of $1 million for stealing combat aircraft from the Russian Air Force and $500,000 for bringing in helicopters.
