Russian Aviation Regulator Permits Rossiya Airlines to service Airbus, Boeing Aircraft

Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency has allowed Rossiya Airlines to conduct maintenance on foreign-made aircraft – including Airbus and Boeing planes– registered in the state register of the Russian Federation.

The agency said in a statement that the extended FAP-285 certificate will allow the carrier's aviation technical support department at the Pulkovo base to carry out the technical operation of the entire fleet of operated aircraft.

The updated certificate applies to Boeing and Airbus liners, new types of operational and periodic maintenance work have been introduced, as well as maintenance of a wide range of aircraft components. Previously, the validity of the certificate received in 2020 was limited to the Superjet 100 maintenance permit.
