Raytheon Unveils New MTS-A HD Sensor for Naval Helicopters

Raytheon has launched its latest electro-optical/infrared sensor, the MTS-A HD, designed to support naval helicopter operations with improved imaging and targeting performance.

The new multispectral targeting system offers enhanced visual clarity, higher targeting accuracy, and greater mission flexibility, particularly for helicopters operating in complex maritime environments.

The MTS-A HD builds on Raytheon’s existing MTS sensor family, which is already deployed on more than 400 U.S. Navy helicopters. The company said the updated system features a modular design, enabling quicker integration and cost-effective upgrades for current users.
