One of Russia’s Newest Ships Struck Near Snake Island, Ukraine Claims
Tweet posted by Anton Gerashchenko, Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Ukraine’s Navy has claimed that Russia’s Vsevolod Bobrov support vessel was damaged in one of its strikes in the intervening night between May 11 and 12.

Serhiy Bratchuk, a spokesman for the Odesa Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram that the ship was damaged and set on fire as a result of a Ukrainian strike. He said the ship “is limping toward Sevastopol.”

However, Bratchuk added that, "the information is yet to be clarified." "But the fact that she suffered a ‘snake bite’ in the area of Snake Island is true," he said.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine claim they either lined up or destroyed half a dozen warships and cutters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, including the flagship cruiser Moskva, near the Snake Island.
