Russian high-precision missiles hit West-supplied weapons depot, 9 aircraft and Project 1241 corvette operated by the Ukrainian armed forces.
"High-precision air-based missiles of the Russian aerospace forces destroyed weapons and military hardware delivered from the United States and Western countries to the sol railway station near the city of Soledar, as well as manpower from the Ukrainian army reserve," Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Sunday.
Konashenkov claimed that 19 areas of the deployment of Ukrainian forces and weapons, as well as six weapons depots. "High-precision air-to-surface missiles of the Russian aerospace forces <…> hit 19 areas of the deployment of Ukrainian manpower and weapons, a pontoon bridge crossing near Chuguyev and six weapons depots near Krasnaya Gora, Verkhnekamenka, Mayaki in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Novodruzhevsk in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Reznikovo and Nikolayevka I the Kharkov region," he said.
Russia also says its aircraft shot down three Su-24 bombers, a Su-27 fighter jet, a Mi-24 helicopter, three Mi-8 helicopters with paratroopers and two Bayraktar-TB2 drones near Snake Island.
A Project 1241 (Tarantul-I) corvette of the Ukrainian Navy was destroyed near Odessa.
Konashenkov added that since February 24, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed 156 Ukrainian planes, 116 helicopters, 765 drones, 2,927 tanks and other armored vehicles. "Since the beginning of the special military operation, [Russian forces] eliminated: 156 planes, 116 helicopters, 765 drones, 297 missile air defense systems, 2,927 tanks and other armored vehicles, 335 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,393 field artillery guns and mortars, and 2,746 special automobile vehicles," he said.
