The aim of the Polish initiative is to receive multiple donations to buy the choppers which will be used to evacuate wounded Ukrainian soldiers, reports Arming Ukraine.

“We want to regularly buy effective weapons that will help our neighbors defend themselves and expel Russian criminals from the territory of Ukraine,” the campaign description states.

The Mi-2AM-1 helicopters will be delivered by Ukrainian company AviaGrade.

The cost of one helicopter is $570,000. A total of $1.8 million should be collected in 35 days to buy three evacuation helicopters, the report said.
