Aster 30 PAAMS firing from Frigate

France and Italy signed a mega contract valued €2 billion with MBDA for Aster air defense missiles.

The multibillion dollar deal was inked via Joint Organization for Cooperation in Armaments (OCCAr). As per French outlet La Tribune, it will cover the delivery of 700 surface-to-air missiles from the Aster family (Aster 15, Aster B1 30 and Aster 30 B1NT) to the Franco-Italian company Eurosam.
