Russian T-90M Proryv tanks teamed up with quadcopter drones to take out enemy targets.
T-90Ms of the Central Military District took part in the training.
In an official statement today, the ministry said tank crew, acting in conjunction with the quadcopter, receives more up-to-date coordinates of targets and makes adjustments. Additionally, it makes it easier for the Russian side to receive data on the advance lane to the firing line, and obstacles in its path.
This also "reduces the likelihood of a combat vehicle being hit by enemy sabotage groups."
T-90M is the latest modification of the Russian T-90 main battle tank.
