Egypt Signs Agreement with China to localize Drone-detection Radar

Egypt's Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) and China’s CACHC Group have agreed to localize production of  a 3D radar to detect and track UAVs.

The two parties signed the relevant documents during the IDEX 2023 exhibition currently taking place in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.

AOI Chairman Ali said that the areas of cooperation include the exchange of experiences and the training of human cadres in the authority on manufacturing and maintenance work according to the latest digital manufacturing systems. 

He revealed plans to establish a coordination committee between the two sides to follow up on the implementation of joint projects.
