Raytheon Awarded $1.23B for Swiss Patriot Missile Systems

The U.S. Army awarded Raytheon a contract valued $1.225 billion to make Patriot air defense systems for Switzerland.

“Raytheon Co., Andover, Massachusetts, was awarded a $1.225 billion firm-fixed-price contract for Patriot Missile System fire units. Work is estimated to be completed by Dec. 31, 2032. Fiscal 2023 Foreign Military Sales (Switzerland) funds in the amount of $1.225 billion were obligated at the time of the award,” the Pentagon said in a release today.

The U.S. State Department approved the sale of Patriot missiles and related equipment to Switzerland in November 2022 for an estimated cost of $700 million.
