Slovakia’s defense ministry said it handed over 13 promised MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine.
It confirmed in a statement Monday that all delivered MiG-29s are already on the territory of Ukraine.
The first batch of four MiG-29s was handed over to the Ukrainian Air Force last month. They took off from the air base under the control of Ukrainian pilots. Ukraine has now received the remaining 9 fighters.
The U.S. has offered Slovakia its AH-1Z Viper attack helicopters in exchange for MiG-29s being transferred to the Kyiv regime. Slovak defense minister Jaroslav Nad called the $1 billion offer “advantageous.”

Ukraine could fly these MiG jets as they are, or use components from them on its own jets, depending on the condition of the donated aircraft.
