Irkutsk Aviation Plant, a United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) company, handed over to the Russian Ministry of Defense a batch of Yak-130 combat training aircraft.
Yak-130, developed by OKB im. A.S. Yakovlev, which is part of PJSC Irkut Corporation, was chosen as the base aircraft for basic and advanced training of pilots of the Russian Aerospace Forces. It allows you to train pilots of combat aircraft of the 4+ and 5 generations at the most modern level. The Yak-130 aircraft is the main component of the training complex, which includes an integrated objective control system, training computer classes, flight and specialized simulators.
“Aircraft of the following batches are in production, scheduled for delivery this year,” Yury Slyusar, General Director of UAC, said.
