Russia's Defense Ministry plans to conclude contracts worth more than 433 billion rubles ($4.7 bln) at the Army-2023 International Military-Technical Forum to be held in Moscow later this month.
Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced this at a conference call with the leadership of the Russian armed forces on Monday.
He however, did not specify if it includes any international sales. Sales to foreign customers have been near stagnant due to American threats to impose sanctions on countries buying Russian weapons.
On the other hand, demand from the Russian Army for its operations in Ukraine has pushed Russian arms factories into overdrive.
At the forum, almost 1,500 enterprises will present about 28,000 samples of military and dual-use products, the Defense Minister said.
