Russia's Tactical Missile Corporation (TMC) today unveiled an upgraded version of its short-range Air-to-Air Missile, the RVV-M2.
New over the earlier RVV-M1 is an "upgraded capability to defeat electronic interference," according to information released by its manufacturer, State Machine Building Design Bureau “VYMPEL,” part of Tactical Missile Corporation (TMC) at the ARMY-2023 Forum.
Another upgrade is that the missile can be adapted to non-Russian aircraft.
The 10ft-long upgraded RVV-M2 missile has a diameter of 170mm and wing span of about 430mm. It can hit targets flying at speeds of 2,500kmph at distance between 20m-20km.
