Ukraine has covertly engineered a kamikaze drone armed with a 30-kilogram warhead and boasting flight radius of 800 kilometers.
The Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation, along with the efforts of volunteers Serhiy Sternenko and Ihor Lachenkov, is spearheading a fundraising initiative to procure these UAVs for the Ukrainian military.
The fundraising campaign, named "We Can Repeat”, was officially launched on Tuesday, October 10, with the goal of securing UAH 175 million to acquire a total of 100 long-range drones known as "Morok." This campaign is set to span three days.
Considering the sum being raised by volunteers for the specified quantity of drones, the estimated cost per Morok drone is approximately UAH 1.75 million.
In a prior development in September, the Security Service of Ukraine unveiled two images of the Ukrainian Morok drone. This unmanned aerial vehicle is designed as a single-engine aircraft featuring a pusher rotor in the tail section, adhering to a conventional aerodynamic layout. The tail assembly adopts a twin-boom, inverted V-shaped configuration, while the propulsion system relies on an internal combustion engine.
