Patria and United Aero Group (UAG) have officially announced their collaboration aimed at acquiring pre-owned Black Hawk helicopters from the U.S. Army.

This partnership will also involve extensive refurbishment programs and upgrades, including the installation of mission kits, set to commence in 2024.

The primary goal of this initiative is to transform these venerable Black Hawk helicopters into versatile machines capable of taking on a broader spectrum of missions while significantly enhancing their efficiency and capabilities.

The program is poised to provide a multitude of benefits to prospective customers, including cost-effectiveness, expedited delivery times, and the ability to tailor the helicopters to meet a wide range of military and law enforcement aviation requirements, utility operations, medevac missions, as well as the capacity to handle demanding search and rescue (SAR) and firefighting missions.

Patria is going a step further by offering comprehensive local sustainment support in the years to come, thanks to their Patria OPTIME modular sustainment solution. This ensures that the upgraded Black Hawks will continue to operate at peak performance while minimizing downtime.
