EDGE Secures $1.25B U.A.E. Deal for Precision-Guided Munition Systems, Aircraft Munitions

Abu Dhabi-based EDGE, has inked two contracts, totaling AED 4.587 billion ($1.25 billion), to bolster the U.A.E.'s defense capabilities.

In the first deal, EDGE's entity ADASI has clinched an AED 487 million ($132.6 million) contract with the Ministry of Defence, providing precision-guided munition systems. The agreement encompasses the supply of RASH 2M and RASH 2H guidance kits for mortars and other in-house designed payloads.

Simultaneously, EDGE entity LAHAB DEFENCE SYSTEMS secured an AED 4.1 billion ($1.1 billion) contract for the production and delivery of MK 81, MK 82, MK 83, and MK 84 general-purpose aircraft munitions.

These contracts were announced at the ongoing Dubai Air Show 2023.
