EDGE Subsidiary NIMR Unveils JAIS Mark 2 in Comprehensive Upgrade of Armoured Vehicle Fleet

EDGE Group's entity, NIMR, has introduced the JAIS Mark 2 (MK2), marking the conclusion of its armoured vehicle lines' upgrade to the next generation.
The announcement was made ahead of the World Defence Show (WDS) 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This development encompasses the entire product line of NIMR, including AJBAN, HAFEET, and JAIS.
The JAIS MK2, a mine-resistant ambush protected (MRAP) vehicle, promises enhanced protection for critical systems and improved mobility within the same weight class. Its features include a modernized electrical system, increased payload, higher internal crew capacity, expanded external storage, and improved ergonomics. Additionally, the JAIS MK2 boasts a reduced thermal signature and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) compliance to enhance overall efficiency.
The company began delivering the JAIS MK2 to customers in 2023 after successful completion of development, testing, and production.
