S.A.B.C.A. wins contract for logistics support of USAFE A-10 fleet

The US Government, Ogden Air Logistics Center (OO-ALC, 538 ACSG), has awarded S.A.B.C.A (Société Anonyme Belge de Constructions Aéronautiques) a new five-years Requirement-type contract for In-Theater Depot Support of the USAFE A-10 fleet, covering Fiscal Years 2010 to 2014. The new contract awarded last week in conclusion of a one-year long re-competition procedure will allow S.A.B.C.A. to go one step further into its involvement and commitment to the A-10. This workload will come in addition to the other programs currently performed by S.A.B.C.A. for Belgian Defence, USAF and several other foreign customers. Since Feb 2000, under the first two contracts, a large number of A-10 have already rolled out of the Charleroi flightline after having been inspected, repaired, re-painted or upgraded.
