Airbus has placed an order with Thales for eight Reality H Full Flight Simulators to train German Bundeswehr and NATO pilots on the Airbus multi-role H145M helicopters as part of the LKH (Leichter Kampfhubschrauber) program.

The Reality H architecture is designed to the D standards from Aviation Authorities. It offers an immersive training environment with various operational scenarios, visual scenes, and AI-controlled Computer-Generated Forces (CGF) SETHI (Simulateur d’Environnement Tactique Hétérogène Intéractif). SETHI is also being integrated into the Bundeswehr’s NH90 MR1 FFS at Bückeburg International Helicopter Training Centre (IHTC) to allow pilots to train in conditions close to real operations. These simulators will feature advanced briefing and debriefing capabilities to support the Bundeswehr’s pilot training programs.
