Airbus to Acquire German Cybersecurity Company INFODAS

Airbus Defence and Space has confirmed its agreement to acquire INFODAS, a German company specializing in cybersecurity and IT solutions for the public sector, including defense and critical infrastructures.

The acquisition is pending customary regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.

INFODAS, headquartered in Cologne, Germany, employs approximately 250 individuals and generates annual revenues of around €50 million. The company also has offices in Berlin, Bonn, Hamburg, Munich, and Mainz.

INFODAS has received certification from the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) as an IT security service provider, particularly in areas such as information system auditing, consulting, and penetration tests. Its SDoT Security Gateway product family is approved for classification levels up to secret and holds certifications in accordance with Common Criteria and other country-specific standards.
