Poland has signed a contract to purchase 72 HOMAR-K missile launchers, a Polish version of South Korea’s Chunmoo, produced by Hanwha Aerospace Europe.
According to reports, the contract is valued at six billion Polish zloty ($1.5 billion).

The acquired technologies will allow the use of 122 mm rocket ammunition produced in Polish industry,” Deputy Minister of National Defense of Poland Paweł Bejda confirmed on social media platform X.
Hanwha Aerospace said on April 24, during a visit to the Agency for Defense Development (ADD) training ground in Anheung by a Polish government delegation, a CTM-290 missile from 'Homar-K', the Polish version of Chunmoo, was launched, demonstrating the interoperability of the two countries' systems. The deal with Hanwha Aerospace concludes a framework agreement signed last year under the previous Law and Justice government.
The news follows last month’s announcement that the U.S. is to sell advanced long-range guided missiles to Poland in a deal worth $1.275 billion.
