Saudi Arabia has acquired Cobra II armored vehicles from Turkish manufacturer Otokar.

Otokar signed a contract for the Cobra II 4x4 tactical wheeled armored vehicles last year. Deliveries were completed at the end of last year and the beginning of this year, and the vehicles are now operational, as reported by Turkish media.

The Cobra II is designed to be maneuverable and offers both ballistic and mine protection. It is capable of operating in various terrain conditions and can be equipped with multiple weapon systems and equipment to meet different operational requirements. The vehicle can carry up to nine personnel and is suitable for tasks such as border security, patrol, reconnaissance, and internal security.

Otokar has a history of collaboration with Saudi Arabia, having delivered approximately 200 4x4 vehicles named "Survivor" for a special project in 1998.
