Roselectronics, a subsidiary of state-controlled Rostec, has introduced a new mobile system named "Leshiy" designed to protect military vehicles from drone attacks.
According to a statement from Rostec, the system creates interference that forms a protective dome over vehicles, disrupting the control channels of drones, including FPV drones.
The "Leshiy" complex has a range of at least 250 meters and functions effectively both on the move and when stationary.
Developed by the Polyus Central Design Bureau, it underwent testing at the Research and Testing Institute of Electronic Warfare of the Zhukovsky and Gagarin Air Force Academy.
The system is now being delivered to customers and is reported to be not only suitable for protecting vehicles but also for safeguarding industrial facilities. Plans are in place to expand its frequency range.
Additionally, Polyus has developed the Groza drone countermeasure system, which protects military and civilian infrastructure from drone attacks with a range of at least 300 meters.
