Ukrainian Armored Technology presented the new Varta-2 IMV/APC at MSPO2024 in Kielce, Poland.
This vehicle, built on a durable base chassis, weighs 14 tonnes and is designed for high-performance and protection.
The Varta-2 offers ballistic protection rated at Level 3a/3b per STANAG 4569 standards, ensuring resilience against a range of threats.
Capable of carrying up to 10 troops, the vehicle boasts a top speed of 110 km/h, enhancing its operational mobility.
Equipped with a ‘Sich’ remote-controlled turret, the Varta-2 features a 30mm cannon, a machine gun, and Tucha smoke-grenade launchers, providing versatile combat capabilities.
Additionally, the vehicle includes an electronic warfare (EW) jammer from Ukrainian company Kvertus, designed to disrupt enemy communications and radar.
