Singapore, Saab Expand Cooperation on Underwater Technology Development

Saab and Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) have signed an expanded Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their partnership in underwater technology exploration.

The agreement was signed on November 20 during the Sweden–Singapore Royal Business Forum, held as part of the first Swedish state visit to Singapore. It builds on a prior agreement established in 2023, which focused on long-term support, talent development, and smart technologies.

Under the updated scope, Saab and DSTA will conduct joint studies on operational concepts and emerging technologies. The collaboration aims to develop underwater solutions to bolster maritime security and resilience.
