Type-X Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV) @Milrem Robotics

Milrem Robotics has selected Texelis, a supplier of mobility systems for defence and security, as a partner to manufacture mobility subsystems for its next generation of robotic combat vehicles (RCVs).

Texelis will provide Milrem Robotics with an electrified drivetrain system tailored for 12+ ton robotic platforms. This drivetrain will enhance the vehicles' modularity, mobility, and battlefield capabilities, enabling them to perform effectively in demanding operational environments.

A drivetrain system is a group of components that work together to transmit power from an engine or motor to the wheels of a vehicle, enabling it to move. The drivetrain system is responsible for converting the rotational energy of the engine into torque, which propels the vehicle forward.
