Elbit Systems Ltd. has secured a contract from a European nation to supply a Joint National Digital Fire Command Center (JNDFC) and integrate the country's strategic and tactical firepower into the system.
The agreements, valued at approximately $100 million, will enable Elbit to deliver advanced multi-domain digital warfare capabilities at a joint level.
According to the Elbit Systems report, the JNDFC will integrate Elbit's C4ISR Digital Fires Suite, which includes the Torch-X Fires system, E-LynX Software Defined Radios (SDR), and the GRX-8000 High-Capacity Line-of-Sight Microwave Communication System.
As part of the contract, Elbit will also digitize an artillery battalion and seamlessly integrate it into the command center.
The JNDFC will allow real-time command of various firepower assets, including howitzers, rockets, mortars, precision and loitering munitions, as well as UAVs, drones, and multiple sensor types such as radars and forward observers.
By digitizing fire processes and integrating real-time intelligence with C4I capabilities, the system aims to enhance operational efficiency, optimize firepower management, and significantly accelerate the Sensor-to-Shooter cycle.
