BEL signs contract with Suriname Armed Forces at Defexpo 2010

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) signed a contract with the Suriname Armed Forces (SAF) at Defexpo 2010 today (February 16, 2010) for the delivery of Coastal Communication System Network (CCN) Server. CCN was supplied to SAF during 2008-09. This is an additional requirement to facilitate roaming feature in the Network. Mr Ivan Fernald, Minister of Defence, Suriname, and Mr D L Kamperveen, Director, Ministry of Defence, Suriname, were present at the signing of the contract. . . . .
