Brig-Gen Patrick Choy (Retd.), Chief Markeing Officer, Strategic Marketing, ST Kinetics, spoke of his company’s plans and priorities in the Indian market during the course of a media briefing in New delhi. ST Kinetics is a major name in the global defense industry, particularly well known for its high technology products in land systems, marine and electronics.

DW : What products and services are you offering in the Indian market.

Brig-Gen Patrick Choy: We will be fielding the world’s first and longest in-service 155 mm 52 Calibre towed howitzer, the FH 2000 in field trials next month (February 2010). We are also hopeful that the stalled trial of the 155 mm caliber 39 Pegasus lightweight howitzer will also recommence shortly. ST Kinetics plans to address India’s strategic needs and is fielding tailored solutions to meet the requirements of the modernization programs of the Indian armed forces. Besides the howitzer programs, these include SAR 21 Carbine with its proven reliability and performance.
