Nexter Systems and Défense Conseil International (DCI) have signed a memorandum of understanding on the joint promotion of capability offers for the benefit of Forces in France and abroad.

This move encourages joint projects built around Nexter systems combined with the provision of training, consultancy and operational assistance services that DCI can provide. Where appropriate, the services will be integrated in the field of simulation and on-board simulation.

The Nexter Group and DCI are also planning to explore subcontracting partnership solutions for the benefit of the French Army. Both companies propose to reinforce with education and training tools, such as Generic Virtual Training (GVT), the DCI structures that make up part of Draguignan military schools, and to share them with said schools. Nexter and DCI have already demonstrated the complementary nature of their offer in a conclusive training project with a country in the Middle East.

"In keeping with our strong partnership policy, Nexter has sought to strengthen its offer with DCI and thus offer services that are more tailored to meet the needs of the Forces. This agreement will allow us to propose comprehensive offers under the label of French excellence" commented Philippe Burtin, CEO of Nexter Systems.

"We share a common vision with Nexter and all of its teams and we are confident in our approach: To provide, together, capability offers built around the duo of French operational and technological excellence", said Jean-Michel Palagos, CEO of DCI. "I am sure that this unique approach will provide a more comprehensive and sustainable response to the expectations of our customers and gives a stronger meaning to the integrated offer."
