Rosoboronexport plans to partner with defense companies from France and other countries for joint projects in the manufacture and sale of various military hardware.
Talks are planned, including with French partners, “with whom Russia is implementing a large number of mutually advantageous joint projects, both in the interests of the Russian armed forces and the armed forces of third countries,” the Rosoboronexport press office said.
Rosoboronexport is to demonstrate weaponry at the Eurosatory 2014 arms exhibition, which opened in Paris on Monday, the Rosoboronexpot press office said.
Rosobornexport is exhibiting various modifications of the BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle, Pantsyr-S1, Tor-M2E and Buk-M2E air defense systems, Kamov Ka-52 (Hokum-B), Mil Mi-28HE (Havoc) and Mil Mi-35M (Hind) attack helicopters, as well as Mil Mi-17 (Hip) military transport helicopters.
Russia will also exhibit a simplified version of the Smerch multiple launch rocket system, the Msta-S modernized 155-mm self-propelled howitzer, the Kornet-EM anti-tank guided missile system and the Khrizantema self-propelled anti-tank system.
